Return & Refund Policy
1. General Return Eligibility
We accept returns and exchanges subject to the following conditions:
- The item must be returned within 7 days of the date of purchase (in-store) or date of delivery (online orders).
- The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition with all tags intact.
- The item must be accompanied by the original GST tax invoice or proof of purchase.
- Items purchased during special sales, clearance events, or marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for return.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following categories are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances:
- Innerwear, lingerie, and personal care accessories
- Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or dry-cleaned
- Items with broken tags, missing labels, or damaged packaging
- Custom-stitched or made-to-order garments
- Discounted items sold during promotional or festive sales (unless defective)
3. Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged item (in-store or via delivery), you are entitled to a replacement or full refund. Please:

- Provide photographic evidence of the defect or damage
- We will arrange for a pickup or replacement at no additional cost
4. Return Process
- Initiate: Contact us via phone or email with your order number and reason for return.
- Approval: Our team will verify eligibility and provide return instructions within 2 business days.
- Ship/Bring: Return the item to our store at DVK Road, Nalgonda, or ship it to our address (for approved online returns).
- Inspection: Upon receipt, we will inspect the item within 2–3 business days.
- Resolution: Approved returns will be processed as a refund or exchange as requested.
5. Refund Process

GST refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with the GST refund provisions under Section 54 of the CGST Act, 2017. The refund amount will reflect the GST component after validating the original tax invoice.
6. Exchange Policy
Exchanges for a different size or colour (subject to availability) are permitted within 7 days of purchase/delivery. The item must meet the same eligibility conditions as returns. If the replacement item is of a higher value, you will be charged the difference; if of a lower value, we will issue a store credit or refund the difference.
7. Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to a defect or our error: SM Fashion bears the return shipping cost.
- If the return is for other reasons (e.g., change of mind): The customer bears the return shipping cost.
8. Consumer Protection Rights
This policy does not limit your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India). If you have an unresolved complaint, you may approach the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Nalgonda, Telangana.
